Welcome to color week! I was really really hoping that today would be a lovely spring day so I could get a few good pictures outside, but I'm afraid it's looking more grey out there than green! So instead I have this picture I made just for today using wordle. Plus, it's a bit of a hint as to what to except come my new shop launch! I can't wait! Happy monday everyone and don't forget that tomorrows color is yellow.

You are cordially invited to our Spring Colours Week! Yes folks, spring is here! And to celebrate we will be hosting a Spring Colours Week the week of April 4th - 8th here on the blog and at our spring colours flickr pool!  If you're new to this, it's pretty simple;  Each day of the week we will assign a spring colour.  That day (or from 6pm Pacific) the night before upload your spring colour photo's for that specific "colour assigned day" to our Spring Colours Week Flickr Pool!  We then will post some faves up on the blog along with a thumbnail summary at the end of each day!  It's super fun and extremely cool to watch us all come together as a community to create some beautiful spring eye candy.  Here's the colour schedule:

colors week: silvers and golds

Last day of the colors week - it's been fun trying to find things in that days colors scheme but at the same time I am glad it's over! Not gonna lie though, I'm pretty proud of myself for sticking with it for the entire week. So with all that aside, I bring you silvers and golds:

In other news, today is the one year anniversary of our engagement! We were on our way to the park (which is where we got engaged) when all of a sudden it hit me what day it was! So I will hopefully be back late tonight with our engagement story :)

Lately I have been trying a lot harder to eat healthier (although I did just finish eating a cookie or two!) so todays color being green worked great with my meal planning! Here's what I had:

Since everything is so grey and dreary looking lately I decided that for today's color post featuring blue I would dive into my fabric stash to showcase some of my blue pieces.

I wish I could say which collection each of these pieces comes from but I just can't remember. Some of it is a part of the 'flea market fancy' line, and one of them I know is by heather bailly but for the rest you're on your own!

Hello again! I'm back today with the color of the week - white. I was really hoping to get some great shots today since basically everything is covered in white snow! But waking up with a headache somewhat altered those plans. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the pictures regardless, some of them were taken today but some were from earlier this month!
