Happy new year, friends! 2012 already, sometimes it's hard to believe! Last night Jordy and I had a rather low key night at home, we ate appetizers and watched over 10 hours of Harry Potter goodness!
I woke up this morning with a warm feeling, I have always liked new beginnings, I live for the turning of a new calendar page, all crisp and clean, just waiting to be filled up. The start of a new year brings so many new possibilities with it.
Like many of you I am sure, this past year has brought lots of ups and downs for me individually and as a part of a family. I am interested in seeing what this new year will bring and what paths it will take me on.
Surprisingly I completed all of my resolutions this year minus one, which is a first I am sure.
This year I wanted to:
1. Drink more water [check]
2. Make 52 crafts [while I failed to document them all, I am sure there was at least 52 of them]
3. Enter a craft fair [missed this one]
4. Finish my B.A. [check]
5. Spend more time outdoors [check plus]
6. Work somewhere creative [check]
7. Celebrate everyday & pursue joy [a work in progress]
I haven't thought to much yet about what my goals will be for this year, but I know I will make them soon enough. Before I go, I just wanted to share a picture of the little banner I made for Jordy and I last night with my NEW CRICUT. I was going for something bright and happy but it kind of came off easter looking, so bear with me!
Have a great day of new beginnings!
Happy New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLove the new year philosophy and try to apply that to everyday. If today was tough, tomorrow when I wake up I have the chance to start all over again. Love my cricut and I find if I stick to a paper set my projects come out looking more cohesive. But then again, that is because I am not an artist like you! Have fun this year with it.
